Technical
Conference and Review
During the
last 26 years, synergies of proven macromolecular design and synthesis
capabilities have been integrated with expertise in characterization,
analysis, modeling, and physical property determination at Virginia Tech.
The interdisciplinary teams of investigators plan to integrate their skills
and to describe activities in several emerging technological areas of
national importance. These areas include polymer synthesis,
structure-property-processing behavior, adhesives, sealants and interfacial
science, and biomaterials.
Every 18 months MII organizes a
technical conference and review meeting on the Virginia Tech campus to
provide an opportunity for scientists and
engineers from industry and government to learn of the activities of MII,
through faculty presentations and student posters. There are also
opportunities to learn new aspects of the integrated research and education
programs at Virginia Tech, to form partnerships with faculty and
graduate/undergraduate students associated with the Institute.
Please mark your calendars! The next conference and review will be
in April 12-16, 2009
