1999 SURP
The 1999 NSF-STC SURP program which consisted of 21 undergraduates took place at Virginia Tech starting May 26 for eleven weeks. With 200 applicants from all over the U.S., the filter of excellence for selection was indeed fine, in the 10th Annual Summer Undergraduate Research Program. Most participants were rising seniors, having top 5% grades and excellent recommendations.
