Prof. Long as Invited Speaker at KAUST Research Conference titled: “Polymers – Designing Macromolecules for Applications”

Dr. Tim Long just returned from giving an invited presentation at the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) conference in Saudi Arabia, “Polymers – Designing Macromolecules for Applications”, In addition to Dr. Long’s presentation, Justin Sirrine and Joe Dennis gave a poster presentation. They were all thankful for the opportunity to travel to Saudi Arabia and to learn about all of the great research happening at KAUST and elsewhere! Dr. Long’s talk focused on multifunctional polymers for additive manufacturing while addressing ionic Liquids and ion-containing networks to high temperature polyimides. His graduate students posters were titled “Functional siloxanes for mask projection microstereolithography (MPμSL): photo-activated chain extension and crosslinking” and “High Tg polyesters as potential BPA-polycarbonate replacements”.
